Yoann Stoeckel is an internationally renowned photographer specialised in Portrait and Lifestyle. Born in the French Alps, he currently works between New York and Paris.
One of the most significant events in his life that served as a major influence in his photographic career was in the early 80's when Yoann was a young kid. While based in Syracuse, NY, he and his family went on a cross country US road trip on a Pontiac Station wagon, traversing the many diverse areas of America. This journey experience shaped his eye and passion for photography which lead to his years at the prestigious National School of Photography Louis Lumiere in Paris.
Today, as a professional photographer Yoann splits his time between advertising and editorial assignments, as well as his personal work.
His client list includes, The New York Times, Red Bull, Ford, McDonalds, Nespresso, Aston Martin, French GQ magazine, French Glamour magazine, AirFrance Magazine, Monocle, TBWA and Ogilvy amongst others.
As a visual artist who works collaboratively, he merges his own vision with the assignment at hand. On the ground, he is a natural traveller who integrates into other cultures with ease. His work transports the viewer to his own personal visual world that is infused with his signature palette and unique approach to capturing light.
